Replacement IMA battery warranty
I just got my IMA battery replaced on my 2006 HCH (78k miles). The dealer told me the warranty is 12 months 12,000 miles. The first one was 8 yrs....why the short time? I can just see losing it in 13 months and being out $2k plus on a 7 year old car. Makes me think about trading in before the year is up. Any comments?

Dealers around here have given all different numbers- 1 year/12k; 3 yr 36K, 8 yr 84K....anyone know the real answer? I know alot of you have had your IMAs replaced.....
