Default Picture of Yakima or Thule on a Civic Hybrid

Anyone have some pictures of either a Thule or Yakima roof rack on a second generation (06-07) Civic Hybrid?

I need something for surfing and wanted to see how the racks look on the car. Thanks.

I don't have any pictures, but my Yakima looks quite good (although, I'm a sucker for a car with a bike rack on it ). Expect a slight decrease in FE when the rack is on though. I take mine off except for when we are going to use it which is a 5 minute job to take it off/put it on with the ski rack because the cross bars are not connected. It takes a little longer with bike trays connecting the two cross bars. Do surfboard carriers go between the cross bars, or are they independent on each bar?

They are independant of each other.

Did you get the q99 and q131 clips? What size are your crossbars?

Yes, I'm 99% sure it was the 99 and 131. Any Yakima dealer or a call to Yakima directly should be able to confirm this. It calls for a wide (52" I think) cross bar for the front but the back does not need one quite that long. The store I bought the bars at didn't have any 52" in stock so I bought a ridiculously long 60" set and cut off the excess bar with a hack saw. They were the same price and I knew I was going to cut some off the 60" bar anyway.

I had 48" bars on the previous car so I used the 48" bar on the rear of the HCH so I could put a wider bar 60" on my Subaru.

Here is the rack I just put on two days ago. Hope it helps:
