One Year Summary
It has been one year since we got our 2 HCH'06 cars.
This is a graph of our mileage so far:
We got the white car March 24/2006, the blue one we received May 11/2006. Both cars are almost identical, the only significant difference is the tires, the white car came with Dunlops and the blue one with Bridgestones. Both cars have now around 16k miles.
Our mpg for both cars is around 45mpg during summer months and around 37mpg in winter months. Last summer the blue car registered a very low 30mpg during a trip from Toronto to Miami (stops in Washington and New York), we were 4 adults and luggage on top of the car + A/C most of the time.

Re: One Year Summary
Katz; Is the milage starting to climb now that the weather has improved. How did you like the car on the trip to Florida? I live in BC and have a white HCH2 as well. I have only driven it for 2400 kil.. So far I have nothing bad to say about it! Seats may be a little hard, but they should soften up in time. H

So far our feeling is that the factors that affect mileage the most are: temperature, road conditions, wind and traffic. These are factors that we can't control.
The factors that we control: driving technique, tire pressure, block heater, etc. don't seem to make that much difference.
