Multiplex Control Unit swap...

Default Multiplex Control Unit swap...

Well I never...
I had the HCH2 booked into the shop last monday for swapping out the Multiplex Control Unit as per Honda head office's letter. It came in the form of a sort of recall saying that faulty units can make the battery flat if the car is left unused for just a few days.

I had plenty of time and waited patiently for the car.

After 1.5 hours I was handed my keys.

"That's it all done" I was told. "You shouldn't have any more trouble with the 'Fusebox'".

Well I never... the technical term from Honda for a Fusebox is a Multiplex Control Unit!!!!!!!

Ha, ha, ha ,ha......

Hope this has brought on some smiles. Have a nice day y'all...

You're lucky they didn't just refer to it as the MCU... at least you have a glimmer
