Well thats would I would like to do really. In fact when I go back in I will ask if they maybe have a new one that I can drive around the block.

My HCH is still shifting ok, but I opted to make another tranny fluid change after about 15K miles b/c I had the fluid left from the first time. The fluid I got out was notably dark with a slightly higher viscosity, but not burnt. I put in 3 qts and now I can sense a clear difference with much smoother trans operation. I know it's overkill but given the issues some of the 1st generation CVTs had, I may just do a single flush every year (~15K miles). It's cheap insurance since I plan to keep the car for awhile.
