IMA, Check Engine and Battery Light

Re: IMA, Check Engine and Battery Light
Just a quick update on this. The car goes perfectly and actually better. The use (and charge) of the batteries seams to be more efficient.
That's a great car, I fully recommand it.

A quick note to thank MSantos and others for this chat. I had this issue arise (at 42k) the other day. After fretting about it some and reading up, I followed your leads and reset the battery. Things are smooth again.
I talked to a service advisor about this today, and he advised letting them do the free code check if it comes up again so he can perform the software upgrade, if needed, and perform warranty repairs or replacement on the battery. We'll see how it goes.

Re: IMA, Check Engine and Battery Light
Just a note to the powers that be: is there some reason I need to scroll this page horizontally, ie: it's not word-wrapping properly? How does it look to you guys? This seems to occur mostly in long running threads, so I'm guessing there's something in that.

Re: IMA, Check Engine and Battery Light
When I read posts in threads I don't have to scroll, but I've noticed that if I'm looking at the main listing of forums I have to scroll side-to-side to get a full view. I think it's because in the forum for GM hybrid trucks there are so many different models listed horizontally. The only way to shorten that might be to remove the words "GM hybrid trucks", leaving the models listed as they are now.

Re: IMA, Check Engine and Battery Light
It should be, but take it in and find out. If you live in California it probably will be covered. Not sure what the coverage is, but its pretty high. H
