We are considering changing the fluid in our transmission ourselves and wondered if anyone has any tips. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We plan on changing the fluid and filter every 20,000 to 25, 000 miles.

The manufacturer's interval is 30,000 miles.

I havn't got away yet, Ed. I did go on a short day trip last thurs.. 230 kilometers and my meter read 4.6 ltr. per 100 kilm.. I think it was 50.9 U.S. per gal.. Lots of up and down. 1000' to 5000' elavation. Five good size hills on the way. I consider this good. CC 80% of the way @ speeds of 55 and 60 mph.Climate control on Auto at 80 Deg..Tires at 38 lbs. 4500 Kil. on the car. H
