If you don't go with Honda mats, worry about improperly fitting mats causing the accelerator pedal to stick

I bought a special heel mat about 12" by 5". It is now in my third automatic and shows no sign of wear. It is grey carpet enclosed in a rubber housing with a non-slip underside. I have the additional Civic grey carpets provided by my original dealer.

I bought the Honda floor mats and have never had a moment's trouble with them. The surface is good, they do not move around, and my only complaint is that they were more expensive than I would have liked.

no kidding! I liked the floor mats so much I bought a set. Cost me 23 large! Granted, I did get a free car with them but still, little pricey.

I believe she is referring to the Honda All Season mats, not the ones that come with the car.

The tan color All Weather mats will get dirty if you just look at them.
Gets dirty quick and hard to clean. Tried scrubbing, simple green, even
a power washer couldn't get them looking new again.

I think that since I've already worn this matt down hard, I will just buy a new one before selling.

I really like my oe carpet mats in my 6 mo. old '07 -- great fit, no wear. I think the year-old '06 is the same, I'll have to check.
