Default Feeler: Snow Tires (Blizzaks) and Rims for sale

As I just traded in one of our HCHIIs, I now have an extra set of rims and snow tires. I could keep them, wear snow tires 9 months out of the years, and never have to buy tires for the Civic again.

This seems a bit wastful, esp with the extra set of rims.

So, I am in Omaha, NE. I have 4 15" Bridgstone Blizzaks on nice rims that were used for 2.5 winters. They have more that 50% tread left.

If anyone is interested, I will post pics and measure the tread depth.

New the set was about $700.

I'll take $350 + shipping.

Any interest?

Hmmm... I've debated buying snow tires in the past, but never done it under the theory that I can drive the MMH when it snows. However, there have been two snow storms this winter where my wife has needed a car so I've driven the HCH and prayed. $350 would probably be cheaper than a fender-bender.... Any idea what shipping might be (to Colorado Springs)? I'm thinking about it.

I'll get an estimate from FedEx. I'm thinking if I do Bulk/Ground it's less than $100. I did this once a few years ago.

Thanks for your interest, kristian.

Wow, Fedex Ground (3-5 days) might be around $50.

Wanna say $400 shipping included?

I have a Paypal account, you?

I already have tires for my HCH II, but my wife is getting an Insight in April. Do you know, by chance, what size the rims/tires are for the Insight and will yours fit?
