FE World Record

Re: FE World Record
I know what you mean Matt. Towards the end of the summer I was seeing upper 60's to lower 70's on my 13 mile commute to work. Now it's quite an effort to keep it above 60.
As far as grill blocking is concern, I've read with temps below freezing you should keep the grill 100% blocked. 32F to 59F, the grill block should be 50%. Anything above 59F the grill block will work against you. However, I would block 100% if my commute was 4 miles.

Re: FE World Record
Not that big of deal, really. Just a publicity stunt. And since none of the members needed to be in all 48 states, they really wasted a couple hundred gallons of gas, now didn't they?
FWIW, I could drive from Canada to Mexico on ONE tank of gas in my Insight.
But then I'd be a hypocrite now wouldn't I, for wasting a tank of gas, just to prove I could do it. The MATH says I can do it, and that's good enough for me. I don't need to actually go out and do it.
