12v?? No, never thought of checking it. I even took it to the honda dealer and spoke to a 'hybrid' specialist, and he said that for sure its the tires, I told him I doubted it would make THAT much of a difference.
What exactly you mean by checking it? Wouldnt I have a warning that the 12v is going bad?

check the alignment every 2 years. a bit off is all it takes to prevent the car from coasting better.
BTW, my life time mpg is sitting in the low 50's without hypermilin
