Default Ethel & Lucy are gone from XM lineup?

I was very disturbed to find out that Ethel & Lucy were replaced by Alt Nation and Lithium as part of the XM/Sirius merger. I have Sirius in my truck and quickly got annoyed by the lame DJs who insist on talking about nothing in between songs. And it seems that Alt Nation & Lithium run an aweful lot of commercials too, for a "commercial free" music station.

How do other Honda owners with nav units feel about the change in programming?

I'm with you. Before the merger there were many XM stations I really liked from music to news, to sports and comedy. The stations that they replaced are generally not to my liking...poor substitutes.

Thinking of spending time going through the whole lineup again, but so far not impressed.

It seems I'm in the minority. I never listened to Ethel, but I love Alt Nation, and now I have NBA games! I'm happy with the merger.

Thumbs down Re: Ethel & Lucy are gone from XM lineup?

So two more good selections hit the dirt thanks to the Howard Stern merger. Sad to say I did not know, as I cancelled my subscription when they dumped Beyond Jazz and replaced it with the Spa water tinkling sounds. Will miss MLB and NHL, but not paying for bad programming that is free on the airways. It was worth it, but no longer. ipod to the rescue. adios xm
