My dealer quoted me ~$65 for an engine block heater for my HCH II. Labor will be around $100-150. THe tech standing next to me when I asked about this told me that some of the Hondas have a more complicated EBH and some just have a screw-in element where the coolant drain is. My ? is, which one does the HCH II use? Is it a big job or can I do it myself realistically? Has anyone done one themselves w/o burning up the car or themselves?
