I to thought that on a 08 there would be disk's But the fact that with regen braking the brakes are mostly holding brakes except in an emergency situation.
High end cars the rear disk (front on a Saab) you have to screw the position back in to change the pads, not just push back. a lot of other cars have both drum and disk brakes on the rear, the rotor has the drum built into it. (parking brake drums). Most of the stability controls use the brakes and engine RPM for control and I bet you that Honda just took them off an Accra to save development time.
