1 & 2) Good.
3) note that the 09-11 HCH battery is the worst ever made with a 30% failure rate in 3-4 years. If it works at all, it's likely a short term solution. Low mileage hybrids are generally not good as extended sitting contributes to battery failure.

New questions:
1) Do you intend to install yourself?
2) Do you know how to use a multimeter/voltmeter?

The installation is pretty simple. Make sure you have T30 Torx bits to remove the IPU cover. DO NOT BEND OR DISTORT THE COVER! YOU WILL DISABLE BATTERY COOLING IF YOU DO!

You'll need:
10mm socket
12mm socket
T30 Torx bit/socket

Do NOT over-tighten the terminal bolts. They should be about 60 in-lb.

Disconnect 12V
Remove the 2 10mm bolts at the center of the rear seat between the upper and lower cushions.
Find where the lower seat is attached at the front (2 places), grasp firmly and pull up, X2
Remove rear seat cushion
Remove the 2 10mm bolts at the outer ends of the upper seat cushion
Remove the seat belts from their retaining clips
Slide the rear seat up at its existing angle to disengage the hooks
Remove rear upper seat cushion
Reinstall lower seat cushion (no bolts) to provide a comfortable place to work.
Remove the safey switch cover via 2 10mm bolts
Flip the master switch off and remove the 10mm bolt it was obscuring
Remove the T30 Torx bolts - be very careful not to strip them.
Remove the IPU lid
Remove the 2 10mm terminal bolts
Disconnect the 2 plugs
Remove the 4 12mm anchoring bolts.
Remove the battery.

Installation is the reverse.

Take your time and don't rush. Give yourself 1-1.5 hours.

I ask if you know how to use a voltmeter because you can take 11 voltage measurements that can determine of the IMA battery is obviously bad or not - before you waste time installing.

Ah. If you attempt to clear codes with the car in its current state, it will fail. With the IMA battery out, you will generate multiple codes immediately upon turning the key to the ON position.

Disconnect 12V and leave it disconnected until you install the replacement battery.

Yes, but it was 8 years ago, so it's probably already been done. It was a recall.

Glad to hear it. Make certain you got the IPU lid back on with a good perimeter seal. Battery cooling works by blowing air into the trunk creating a vacuum in the IPU. The vacuum pulls air in from the rear deck and through the battery for cooling. Leaks in the IPU lead mean you're not cooling the battery.
