Default Anything on the 07's yet...

None of the dealers have a date when the 07's will start to ship...its also not on the tax credit list...we are waiting on an 07 as they can't find one in the color we want in the 06...are they going to offer any new colors...cause they need to do something with the TWO interior color options...we should be allowed to choose from at least three...not take what they want to give us based on the exterior color...

Found some really good deals...$22,778 for an 06 with Nav...$21,410 for an 06 without nav...

Looks like you're stuck with blue or tan!

I picked up an '07 Civic Brochure from the dealer just this week. If you are waiting for the '07's, don't. there are no changes in color availability or to the car itself. Personally, I have a Mag Pearl HCH II. I kinda dig the two tone blue/ivory interior. I wasn't crazy about the tan, but that's simply personal preference.

My advice (even though you didn't ask for it, I hate to be presumptuous like this) go ahead and get your hands on an '06 ASAP. I'm not sure how close Honda is to the 60,000 unit limit for tax deductions, but for $2100, I wasn't willing to risk waiting when I had found the '06 in the color combo I wanted.

I hope your shopping experience goes well. BTW, I'm also in NC and can recommend a dealership or two that (believe it or not) actually has HCH-II's in regularly. Send me an email if you're searching.

Default Honda Hybrid Monthly Sales Number

Honda is nowhere close to the 60,000 mark. For 2006, Honda has sold under 21,000 hybrid cars. At this rate, Honda would hit the 60,000 mark in 10 - 11 months (July/August 2007), so that means the full tax credit will be available until the end of the following quarter (Dec 2007). It will be interesting to see if the Prius's reduced tax credit drives more people to buy the Civic Hybrid.
Hybrid Monthly Sales number can be viewed at:

Go Honda!!

It is good to see prices are coming down for the time being. But, I assume since 2007 is around the corner they want the 2006's off the the lot. But, I don't see that being a problem. I guess it just depends where are you at.
