Default Alarmish?

Am I accidentally doing these things or what?

I swear our HCHIIs have locked themselves and after doing so, opening the car door set off the panic mode. What are the rules for these features?

Or am I just leaning on the key in my pocket?

P.S. It mostly seems to happen with the windows down and when my kid is sleeping in the carseat!

Okay I just read the "Security System" page in the OM, but I didn't see anything about the doors locking automatically.

Found it!

Page 87
"If you unlock the doors with the
remote transmitter, but do not open
any of the doors within 30 seconds,
the doors automatically relock and
the security system will also set."

So if you park your car, put it in Park, the doors automatically unlock, then if you do not leave your car within 30 seconds the doors lock & the alarm sets, then if you manually unlock a door and open it the alarm goes off, waking your baby... Got it!!

Thanks big brother!

BTW, the 30 second autolock feature (and alarm) does not appear to be setable.

Thanks for listening!
