Excellent, Nigel ! I just posted my 21st tank in 10 weeks in the Mileage Database (this one had a strong headwind for 300 miles so the FE was not great). Anyway, I moved up from 51st to 40th (weighted rank) in the last week from 10/08 to 10/15 and returned home at ~11,500 miles so tomorrow on the 10-week birthday I will be at 1,150 miles/week average at 47.9 mpg average. Sure do love this car.

As for the "weighted rank" in the Mileage Database - I decided not to rank it by total miles because some people bought their car at 20,000 miles on the odo but have only put 2,000 miles on their car themselves. I ranked these people as 2,000 miles "on" the car so they don't rank ahead of me in the list or others when we have started at 0 miles on the car. It boosts my rating too <grin>.

 

Yay had my first 500+ mile tank. Had to include a drive back from Houston to do it. Had a small tail wind that helped despite going up in elevation. The city driving part was fairly average so the long trip was what pushed me over 500.
