Now my transmission CVT is dead as well at 175,000 miles. $5,000 installed from the dealership. Sigh...

 

Myself, and several others around this forum have rebuilt our IMA batteries and as for myself I have also fixed my transmission shudder under 15 MPH problem, fixed my wheels cupping on the rear due to control arms, fixed my catalytic and O2's triggering a P0420 code, and spark plug change. I bought the 06 HCH w/ 165000 miles for $5000 and put $1000 into repairs and now am getting between 42-51 MPG. You can literally make this car last forever if done right.

 

Honda replaced my IMA under the warranty extension for the IMA battery. This was in Feb of this year (2013). The warranty was for 10 or 11 years and around 275,000km or 127,000 miles. Don't quote me on the exact numbers.
