Thumbs up 18.3K HCHII oil analysis results

I received the 2nd oil analysis results on my 07 HCHII, and it appears that things are just fine for an oil change interval of 9K to 10K.

The second fill was Mobil 1 0-20, and it appears that the majority of the initial manufacturing residue has been washed out. Notice the major reductions in the amounts of Molybdenum, Boron, Silicon, Sodium, and Zinc. Iron is still high, but would be expected as the engine continues to break itself in. Most engines today do not fully break-in until 30K or more miles.

For those of you that are concerned about running your oil until the maintenance minder goes to zero or below, here is proof that it is perfectly safe to do so. Enjoy.
