12 volt battery won't charge after hybrid battery pack replacement
Hello,
I replaced the hybrid battery pack in my 07 Civic. The new hybrid battery pack seems to be functioning properly but my 12 volt battery won't stay charged. The 12 volt battery is also new. The red battery warning light is on. The IMA and CEL lights are off. I had AutoZone do an error code read-out but no errors displayed. I did disconnect the 12 volt battery to clear any previous error codes but the red battery warning light remains on. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Confirm your new 12V is good via a load test. The quality of 12V lead acid batteries is complete crap these days.
If you have any non-stock accessories installed, it's worth disconnecting them.
Check the ground straps.
Otherwise, you need to take it to a dealer. A true problem with the DC-DC converter will give CEL at a minimum and typically an IMA as well.
If your 12V isn't bad, what you describe doesn't sound possible.
