I have 120,700 miles on my HCH 2003. IMA light is on but it is driving great and charging without a problem. I'm praying to get to 170,000K like the above poster!

 

I'm at 85k on my 2003 HCH and the battery is still going strong.

 

Note to HCH 03 driver's our total Electric/Emissions warrenty was extended on Jan '03 to 15/150 most dealers and drivers don't know about

What about the lead-acid battery? My second front battery just died, wassup?

 

Would love a link on the 10y/150k warranty on battery? Or you sure it's not just for CA?

Battery kinda went bad rather quickly at 120,000 miles. It was replaced on Honda's dime and is running just great. Hopefully I'll get another 120,000 out of her.

How did you get Honda to pay for the new battery?

 

California car. Warranty covers all IMA and related componants for 10 years or 150,000 miles. It wasn't even an issue. Took it to the dealer when the IMA and MEL light came on together. The Service Tech called me within 2 hours and said that the battery pack was kaput and I could pick it up the next day with a new battery pack installed.
