Thinking about adding OE-style fog lights to my 04 HCH, but don't want to pay the $300+ the dealer wants for true OEM parts. I've found complete aftermarket kits (including lights, harness, switch, etc) on eBay for the 04 Civic, but it only lists the EX, LX, and DX version of the Civic, not specifically the hybrid. Seller doesn't know, so I'm hopng someone here has experience with this.

Are the fog lights the same across the Civic line for 04??

 

The OEM foglight kit description shown on Handa Accessories for the 2001-2005 Civic specifically says, "Not for Hybrid Model." The page also lists PDF files for how to install the foglight kit on all non-hybrid civics.

There was an old thread on this I think........ I treid the cheapie ebay ones and after cutting the holes I found out they didn't fit.
In Australia they sell a civic ES, I found a set of lights on Ebay for an 04 ES and they fit.

My lights are off ebay too. There are no OEM fog lights for our car in the US. You have to get the ones mentioned above.

 

I have the fog lights and they are listed as not compatible - dunno why. I got them from ebay then I had an independent shop install for me.
Mine will light up together with the city light so there is no additional switch in my car. I can post pics if you like but my car is very dirty now

 

Can anyone confirm what type of bulb the fog light uses? Also, anyone know exactly which fog light kit will work on the 04 HCH?
