I am looking to buy a USED 2005 HCH
it has the following 4 codes.
1590
1585
1600
1440
what is the fix ?
IMA battery, computer and MCM swap ????

I have another 2005 HCH that has FLY-WHEEL damage and does NOT move, but has good IMA battery.
so buying a used 2005 HCH with a bad IMA for the swap is perfect
just wondering about these other codes 1590,1585,1440
made offer of $1536......I don't think they will accept

P1440 IMA system problem
P1585 motor current signal problem (25 diagnostic steps)
P1590 Motor current U phase signal circuit low voltage (18 diagnostic steps)
Bad sensor, broken wire, shorted wire, bad MCM. Probably worth just swapping the entire IPU bay.

i know there is the IMA battery
I know there is a computer unit next to it.
what else ?

found this on UTUBE, looks like this is the IPU unit
take out , pop in the other ????
ok, plan to run and buy vehicle on Wednesday
bring both cars to hybrid shop and have them
swap out the IPU unit
hopefully this will zap all four engine codes
then take to shop to replace CVT fluid and burnish process
