Auto Stop\Starter Wear?

I've got a 2003 Civic Hybrid that I bought a few months ago, and ever since getting it I've had a nagging concern about the wear and tear that frequent engine restarts might cause when using Auto Stop.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the life expenctancy of the starter? I don't tend to drive in stop and go traffic that often, but I do drive in Econ mode most of the time. So the auto stop engages when I stop at a stop sign or make a right on red, and brief stops at red lights.
Thanks,
jim

The HCH doesn't use the "starter" to turn the engine over for a start/restart. So, your starter should last a lot longer than a standard vehicle's starter.
