Thanks for all the posts about the 12v battery... My 2004 HCH (approx. 187k, new IMA battery @ 120k, new 12v battery {from dealer} installed in june 2008) was exhibiting the same symptoms as above trying to start it... I didn't think it was the 12v because it was new from June, under warranty... I took it to the dealer today and it was the 12v battery! Installed at no charge under warranty.
