Default 2004 HCH IMA Problem?

Hello there
I'd like to know if any of you had experienced this and has a solution:

My mechanic's computer showed two errors 1570 and 1600. He didn't know what they were and told me to go to the Dealer.

A week after that the IMA stopped charging (green on the left kicked in only when breaking and releasing the gas pedal but not when coasting at constant speed). Then the Battery died. I bought a new Honda Battery, the car runs fine, but the IMA still does the same thing.

Someone told me to reset the computer. Does anybody know how to do that?

I will eventually take it to de dealer, but I wanted to investigate a little bit more befor spending the $$$$

Thanks a bunch

Don't know about hybrids, but disconnecting the battery for a day should do it.

Just disconnecting the battery for a minute did it for me. Make sure that you "race" the engine to at least three thousand RPM for about four minutes. That will help bring your IMA battery back up. Just driving it around town did not charge it for me. The dealer suggested it and it worked great. Hope this helps.
