Renewable Energy Tax Credit Voted Down
This past week the renewable energy tax credit was voted down in the
U.S. senate. In the posted comments at the tail end of the article
there are links to the voting records of all the Senators on this vote,
and on prior renewable energy votes.

I thought the posted comment #13 at the end of the article, and the associated link to the article "The Big Fat Stinking Dead Rat in the Refrigerator" was particularly interesting.

A filibuster free majority for one part of another would be terrible.
Geez... can't think of anything much worse than that.
And although this is old... the pendulum is going to swing the other way in about a year.

Re: Renewable Energy Tax Credit Voted Down
By the way, not all hybrid drivers are democrats or liberal. I happen to be a conservative, gun toting, hot rod owning, tasty animal eating Southern male and proud of it. I happen to be on the opposite side politically than most on this forum but we all have a common interest, hybrid automobiles.
Political differences, sarcastic comments, personal attacks and snide comments need to be left at the door. Mind you, I like a spirited debate as well as anyone and don't mind putting in my two cents worth but the discussions need to be kept civil.
With that being said, have at it.....
