Default V8->V4 indicator

I just purchased a 2010 Yukon Denali hybrid (75k miles). Loving it so far - surreal at low speeds around the neighborhood...

Wondering about the cylinder deactivation - how can I tell if that is happening? I am hoping I can better train myself on how to drive it more efficiently if I could see some sort of indicator.

Also wondering about hybrid battery SOC - is the scan gauge 2 the only way to see that?

Thanks,
Chip

You will need a scan tool to see SOC. V8 and V4 are on Driver Information Center DIC on one of the many pre set displays
