In my opinion the traction control yellow triangle is set too sensitive for me. I can set it blinking on my gravel 1/8 mile driveway. The drive has a turn transition to a 13% grade. With a few little washboard bumps... the light. Pick ups are even more sensitive in my experience. Not sure why. Wheel base is different from SUV. Leaf versus coil rear springs and the SUV body is more stiff to twisting.

I see it as an early warning not an indicator of something bad.

if it happens during turning a graded intersection and it is a pickup hybrid, you can possibly have one tire spinning and not knowing it except for the yellow TC light. it happens to me when I try to drive fast on slick roads esp graded intersection.

I seem to see my light go on and off while towing my trailer on windy roads while going down a slight grade. I alway keep my truck in 2WD instead of auto..It doesn't seem to affect to truck..
