Stalling Problems 2008 Yukon Hybrid

Did the dealer also get the Freeze Frame data with the code? That code could be a symptom of a totally unrelated problem.
The dealer scan tool can also record data from the truck.

I have exactly the same thing, they were almost doing the 300v batterie, they didn't bucase they didn't have enough proof, because I was at the dealer almost every week and my suggestion from the representative was to get rid of it.

Re: Stalling Problems 2008 Yukon Hybrid
You need to find a dealer that actually knows a great deal about hybrids.
These are complex vehicles and NOT to be poked around with by ametures.
If it is stalling there will be more codes. There will be Freeze Frames that a dealer scan tool can obtain. Then you can begin to diagnose the problem.
The scan tool can capture Snap Shot data that can be analyzed by GM people to help. It sounds like you have someone who would rather hope that the problem or the customer goes away.
Stalling without warning can be a big deal. Someone needs to take this seriously.

Re: Stalling Problems 2008 Yukon Hybrid
yes, it starts and runs, cleared codes, came back, so did the stalling,
happens when coming out of full stop (say a red-light) and then as i press accel. the darn thing makes a jerk and stalls!
its not at every stop but if i drive it for an 1rh or so, it will do it maybe once or twice...enough to be dangerous i'll say

Re: Stalling Problems 2008 Yukon Hybrid
I am not sure if this will help anyone, but I purchased a 2008 Yukon hybrid in October of 2016 with 75,000 miles. In February of 2017 I noticed that my Yukon was driving weird. It would act like it would stall when I tried to accelerate and brake plus it always felt like I wasn't quite in gear. RPM's would go crazy and then the worlds loudest noise was coming from the front. I never had the check engine light come on, but I took it to a local GMC dealership here in St. Louis and was given the news that I needed to replace all 8 lifters and the cam shaft. The quote was over $8000!!!! Well, I ended up getting the work done somewhere else for $5000 and thought I was set. A week after getting my truck back the hesitation was getting worse. It actually would stall WHILE I was driving and I couldn't get power when going uphill. Took it too my local AutoZone because check engine light came on for the first time. They couldn't pull any codes and they tested the battery which came back good. I decided to try my luck at the Chevy dealership a mile away from my house. They informed me that I had the wrong type of battery in my Yukon hybrid and although it was "good" it wouldn't supply the power I needed. So they gave me employee pricing on getting the right battery and $200 later my truck is running just fine! So I would suggest that if you are having the same type of issues to double check that you have the right battery in your truck and if you live in St. Louis, Mo go to the Jim Butler Chevy dealership in Fenton. They were more than wonderful to deal with!
