"service hybrid system" message

Does anyone know how to clear this message from the dash? Will an obdii scanner clear it? its not a check engine light its a dash message.

High Voltage battery is probably dead can't clear it unless it's replaced but you can still drive it for another 1-5 years

You can't come to that conclusion without using a scan tool to scan for diagnostic trouble codes. You need to know what caused this error message to appear, so it can be fixed. The message will only clear when the problem is corrected.
