as is the workmanship...beautiful welds all stainless very high quality! it has a bit more throat under hard acceleration and a nice burble at idle

Do not do a "cat back" on these, the muffler is active and makes a huge difference in NVH for the displacement on demand engine. You will NOT be pleased with the sound of the V4 and the switch-over if you replace the muffler with a fixed unit.

The main issue with the Caddy V4-6-8 was not break-downs or anything like that, it was the sound (NVH) of the switching between modes. GM found that until that switch was imperceptible, the consumers were displeased with it.

Sorry guys, it was a late and I was tired reading the thread. I thought you were referring to the resonator. I couldn't figure out why someone would want one. I noticed this morning that I missed the word "eliminator".
I have a resonator sitting there, not the eliminator, which is attached to my Tahoe.
Again, my apologies. I need to stop reading posts before bed...
