Sad day:(. Traded my beloved 2009 hybrid escalade
Like title says, decided to trade my hybrid escalade. Nothing wrong with it. It has 194700 miles and in the next few months or weeks it will hit the 200k mark. I would want to hold the Guinness book of world record to have the highest escalade hybrid 2009 edition but after a nationwide search by a local dealer I already hold the title.
So, to those in the fence about buying a hybrid escalade, no worries here. It is a capable vehicle and can last up to 300k miles or more to the next owner that buys it.
It has been meticulously cared for, regular oil changes with only mobil 1 5w/30 extended performance and replaced each time % oil life hits 30 or more. I know the front MRC shocks wears out at 80k miles and the air compressor at 188k miles after towing my GLK and pilot.
I initially would settle with a premium 2015i escalade if I get a good trade and after shopping it around others dealers nearby saw a platinum and got the deal done.
I got spend the last two days of the hybrid before I drop it off Monday and pick up the platinum. It will give me time to remove the tow hitch, wheel locks etc.

I know how it feels to give up one that has been a good one, we just gave up an 02 Tahoe with 165k but nice for or 09 Hybrid Yukon. You will miss some things but there will be alot of nice improvements in the new Escalade, like a greatly improved middle seat setup. Good luck and thank you for all the information and help offered here.
