ok...CNG is back on track
going it tomorrow for the addition. I think all of the kinks are finally worked out...but I have to keep the Yukon for 6-7 years to break even based on my current driving style.
On another note I just found a fun road! I was in calif. and drove up the coast of oregon then cut inland and made my way to Klamath Falls, then picked up highway 140 to Winnemucca Nv. This road is DESERTED and in good shape. i cruised it all the way at 97 mph as I was hitting the rev limiter a lot. ave mileage was 18.4...not bad at all!

Whoops nevermind read another post of yours about that where they are going to do it. Makes perfect sense!
I had just read the one about you running into a hiccup on the rear cargo area idea before I found that one.

crush zone...
there is research being done to develop LOW PRESSURE storage units that can be virtually any shape, that would allow for a tank to be placed anywhere under the car...btw mine is done they are just tweaking things a bit but it runs great!

Re: ok...CNG is back on track
Found this qoute from you in one of the four or five thread you have on the CNG conversion:
"5k give or take a bit. all plumbing is custom stainless steel takes a week to install start to finish tanks (2) will be custom made to fit where the silly resonator used to be. hopefully I will have all the details this week. My reading of the CARB nonsense in calif. is that I could find nothing newer than 92 or so on the current laws. If anyone has a link to more current info please share it! thanks"
This was what I was talking about, the spare tire area where the resonator is/was. So are they putting the tanks in that area?
