Default Gps dvd

Hey all, does anyone here know of a safe download for the current nav disk? I don't trust just using a random internet search. I also am in no way going to spend the $200 dollars for one.
Right now it's pretty frustrating that my car still has the factory original disk from 2007 when it was made. Billings has had a lot of growth over the past few years and there are plenty of businesses either new or gone, and neighborhoods that aren't on the map.
If a download and burn doesn't work, anyone want to get rid of their previous disk?

I thought 2007's qualified for a free 2010 upgrade. you can call them up and they will ask for the vin of your vehicle. if you qualify they will send you a new one in the mail. too bad my 2009 escalade hybrid is not included in the upgrade. post back if they give you a new one.

Thanks so much, I'll give it a try. Although, mine is an 08, just built in the later part of 07 with the 07 disk. Maybe i'll still qualify.

So what did they say?

The NAV system is so useless, they should pay you $200 to provide suggestions on how to make it better.

Mine would be : SEE GOOGLE MAPS.

I hardly ever use my GM NAV system, just use my smartphone. The GM system cant even zoom in far enough to show the smaller street names. Cant be set while driving, and is really tough to use.

I donno, I guess I dont see the poiint of having to involve Onstar in that process.

I can hit 1 button on my droid, speak the address, then put the phone in a windshield craddle and have heads up voice activated turn by turn instructions that are up to date. While Im moving ...
