During my six month inspection we took the brakes apart and cleaned everything up $51.50 at the GM dealership with 26,000KM the fronts measured 11mm and the rears measured 9mm. No problems noted just lots of dirt, I have never had any brake problems and I always maintain them. I follow the GM maintenance schedual to the letter and then I complete some over maintenance. so far great system no problems.

 

rotors shouldn't be measured since you have only 26k km. it is the pads that needs to be replaced before it wears out. I did that with my honda pilot that has 175k miles on the original rotors with no vibration or brake shudder. I'm sure if the measure it it will be slightly or more below spec.

 

Hi Jeremy i just had a look at this because of the logging roads I am sometimes on as well as the dirt and grime of winter. Also they usually start off at 10mm new not sure why one is 11mm. However everything is essentially new with no problems just preventative maintenance.
