Folks,

I have a 2011 Silverado Hybrid that I am trying to set up with a brake controller. The "normal" Silverado's have a wiring harness set up for a brake controller under the dash near the steering wheel - however I have not been able to find it in my Hybrid. Has anyone setup a brake controller in a Hybrid and found the factory wiring harness under the dash? Can you give any guidance?

It's not the same year, but my 2009 Tahoe Hybrid had the wiring harness there.
Dealership was kind enough to install mine free of charge when i bought my truck!

 

I was thinking of asking mine to find it for me. Perhaps they will be nice enough to do so.

 

Trailer brake? If so same as standard truck install.

 

It is the same as the standard truck, but the trick is to find the factory trailer brake harness. The dealer found it for me yesterday - buried behind the pedal adjustment motor. It looked to me to be part of the pedal motor, but it was not.
