Default Anyone Towing With There's

I am considering a 08 Tahoe hybrid. I like the looks/styling and the powerful 6.0L plus I enjoy hybrids. I occasionally move cars with a transport trailer and wondered how these tow. I know non hybrids are rated to tow 8200 and these are 6000 anyone towing near (or above) the limits?
What is the weak link in the hybrid that they derate their tow rating?

Thanks

The "weak link" is the smaller diameter rear differential to get the 3.08:1 axle.

The rest is ready to rock!

We have used our 2009 Sierra to tow our travel trailer probably 5 times per year on average for the last 3 years, some trips being up to 250km away. The heaviest I was going over the scale was 12,500lbs, which is over the GVRW combined truck and trailer. Never had a problem.
