Default Add-on tranny cooler

I tow with my Tahoe and was thinking that it might benefit from some more transmission cooling. Has anyone put an aftermarket transmission cooler on their Hybrid Tahoe?

The truck normally tows like there is nothing behind it. My friends are amazed at how well it can accelerate under full load. I tow near the rating (I have the tranny fluid changed at short intervals) and get 15 MPG on the highway. My 01 Yukon used to get 9-12 MPG towing the same rig.

Default I don't know if it would help

but pulling long grades it should make a difference in your trans fluid temp. I think the biggest mistake people make is in not changing all fluids regularly. My 98 yukon is going in for a total fluids change sometime soon this includes brake fluid, power steering fluid, antifreeze, trans fluid, front and rear diffs. IOW anything that can be changed will be changed. its cheap insurance if you are counting on your car and planning on keeping it. I typically have gotten over 200,000 k out of any 4 WD that I have owned including 2 range rovers, a couple of jeeps etc. I have never had a major mechanical issue.

It already has a tranny cooler with a built in thermostat. It's supposed to run right around 160F.
