Default 2011 Escalade Light on, New battery?

I just got a 2011 Escalade and before I left the lot the check engine light came on and threw the generic hybrid POAC4 code , it has 88k miles.. could it need a new battery at 9 years and that low of miles? I drove it for 2 days prior to buying and it didnt come on, but have turned light off twice since and it comes back on in matter of short time. The last owner had it like 3 years and old put 16k on it, so its sat alot. I am new to hybrid world, needed a big vehicle with good mpg and got a great deal on this. The dealership is looking into the problem, I just want some input and advice. Thanks

P0AC4 = Turn MIL on. There is something else wrong. There should be another code.

Anything can happen with the HV battery. The Gen2 Prius has an arguably more reliable battery than the GM, and I've seen failures as low as 55K miles.

P0AC4 means that the Hybrid (master) controller requested MIL.

You need to scan deeper to determine what the Hybrid is upset about.

Cadillac Dealership says its the control module for the hybrid system the battery is ok.... shewwww I hope that's all it is. Thank you. I will definitely be staying involved in the forum as I begin my hybrid life.

the water pump is bad the 12V pump it sits between the radiator and engine

it says the inverter is over temperature that is the pump for the inverter module

Don't keep driving it as it may damage the module

OH WOW....Thanks so much...can you give me a part number on that for 6.0? How does a cadillac dealer not know that...geez... ?!?!?! They said module and fuses issue. I have a buddy I will have order that part to replace then regardless of what dealer does.
