Default 2010 and Newer Really E85 Compatible?

Has anyone run their 2010 or newer 2mode on E85? All the press documentation says its a "new feature for 2010" but I can find no actual documentation from GM showing I can fill up with E85. I asked my dealer but they wouldn't tell me yes because my gas cap is black, not yellow. I have a 2010 and fairly decent access to E85, just curous.

you must have an earlier 2010. because I know for cadillac the 2010 was the flex fuel E85 addition. also, it has to have a yellow cap like you said.

That sucks because I have all of the 2010 features like USB, rear camera...this is kind of funny actually. I also have a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT and there is a mid year split that gives you Bluetooth Phone and built in rear cup holders. Of course I have the early one that doesn't have the fun options.

My luck I guess.

Do NOT run E-85 in a 2 Mode!

Any 2 Mode.

even 2010 and later escalade hybrid? I thought it would be nice to have a flex fuel vehicle since their fuel systems are corrosion resistant?

To the best of my knowledge, tuning for ethanol in excess of 10% was never done on any 2 Mode. Flex Fuel vehicles typically have some extra sensors to tell the engine computer what percent ethanol is on board. While the 2 Mode shares many ethanol rated fuel system parts, it doesn't have them all.
