Thanks for the link! Sadly I have ios so the Torque app and the pid's listed won't work. I've downloaded the OBD Fusion app and can enter user generated pid's but it looks like they are asking for the data in a different order. I'll keep working at it!

 

Or you buy a cheap android phone or tablet and use Torque Pro.

I am.having the same issue exactly with my 2008 Tahoe Hybrid and wanted to know if the battery was the fix.

Yes. I replaced the battery earlier this week and it is a new truck! All of the issues that I was having with surging, lurching, hesitation are gone. I've been driving the truck now for 2.5 days and it is the best it has ever driven. I suspect that it has needed a new battery for about 3 years now but there was never any codes until a few weeks ago. Bummed that I didn't replace it sooner but am happy that I did it now. It's paid for and I hope to drive it until 200K - it has 127k on it now.

 

My single oem battery lasted 195,000 miles.
