We bought the 2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid new in May 2008. Now with 180,000 miles in May 2016.
Mileage: 21 City, 24 Interstate hilly, 28 Interstate flat, 16-17 towing.

Tow 700# open aluminum trailer with 1800 # UTV, 2,500# total. Tow long distances at highway speeds.
Round trip PA > Oregon > PA. in 2013 no problems. One stint 22 hours straight.


Also use for hunting and off road on 2 track trails in PA.

Run regular gas and clean with Chevron Techron every 5,000 miles.

Modifications:
- AirRaid cold air intake box with low restriction oil-less filter and water resistant cover sock.
NOTE: AirRaid intake tube to throttle body will not fit.
- Oil catch can in PVC system
- Silver electrode spark plugs

Maintenance
- Routine oil change with Mobil 1 and tire rotation every 5,000 miles.
- Alignment twice per year.
- 100,000 miles dealer changed tranny, diff and transfer case fluids, new spark plugs.
- 140,000 miles replaced 12v battery
- 150,000 miles 1st set of new front brake pads (regenerative braking a +)
- 180,000 miles new front wheel bearings and hubs.


Dealer has replaced 3 sets of tires on a "Tires for Life" contract.
