Re: 10 diagnostic trouble codes. Ten! pls help
OK now it won't go into gear, could the noise I'm hearing be the transmission? Codes that came back on are
Multiple misfires -confirmed
Cold start emission reduction control systems confirmed
Heated o2 sensor heated resistance bank 1 sensor 2(the one I replaced)-pending
Random multiple mis-pending
Another cold start ERCS- pending
I could not hear any sucking type noises under hood, and the transmission is overfilled, and there is leaking coming from right above front cross member drive shaft input

Even stops with hood open? The engine should stay on with the hood open or shifter in M.
If it quits with hood open, that's bad.
May need to get to an engine shop.

****. Yes stops with the hood open every time... Well thanks for all your help I guess I'll get it to a shop. Should it only be a hybrid certified mechanic at a.dealer ,or can I go to my normal shop?

The engine is an engine for the most part. There are some hybrid specific parts. If it is quitting with hood open that is a shut-down of the hybrid system.
So for fundamental engine mechanical diagnosis a good Small Block Chevy tech will do.

I know your just trying to help but did you read all of the post? I suppose it could be an additional problem. but black wet spark plug #1 cylinder and the missing/dieing every time it is started points to a little more serious problem. It was dropped off to the car lots mechanic on Friday of last week I haven't heard anything yet.
