Default Fuel conversion

Dumb question. What is the conversion -

4.4 Litres = 1 dry US Gallon

"or"

3.785 Litres = 1 wet US Gallon

????

I use 4.55 liters per Imperial gallon and 3.79 liters per US gallon.
