Which xguages do you use and why?

Re: Which xguages do you use and why?
I go with the two parameters that govern whether or not (and for how long) I can go EV: water temp and state of charge.
The other two I use for monitoring instant and trip average mpg so I can keep an eye on how I'm doing.

Slightly OT, that'ts the same place I have mine on my 08, over the radio on a sticky pad, wife wouldn't let me use the velcro pads...
Gary, did you find a color to match the ice blue gauges? If I recall I have mine set at 1 - 2 - 3 (red green blue I think), and the dimmer of the 2 brightness. (totaly memory on this from over a year ago).

This will sound a little funny, but I do MPH as well as the common SoC, iMPG, and fuel temp. I'm so used to having my speed in my line of sight from driving the HCH that I find I drive way too slowly without it up there.

I use MPH also.
Seems like this is a waste of one "spot" but I find it very important to have digital MPH.
I drive in EV at 39 MPH ALL THE TIME. ( Daily )
Hit 40 MPH and the engine comes on, even when coasting downhill.
Thus, I use a little brake and catch some regen at 38 or 39 MPH all the time, and extend the EV range. You can't be this precise with the normal Speedometer.
I also like TPS, SOC, and battery TEMP ( Tav ).
Your battery will kick the A/C on at anything above 86'F.
I have two SG on my dash.
When towing, I also monitor CVT temp, Motor Temp, Generator Temp, M/E coolent temp.

In this situation, does the dashboard "A/C" light come on, or is the compressor running and you don't know it? I have run in very hot conditions and have never seen the A/C light come on unless I press it.

It runs without telling you by light... you can usually tell by sounds and/or by more demand on the engine and/or lower MPG and/or by ScanGauge.

Re: Which xguages do you use and why?
There is an xguage for "A/C Clutch Commanded On", do you think this would indicate that the A/C is engaged without the dashboard light?

Re: Which xguages do you use and why?
Just thought I'd post a picture of my SG location. Sorry for the poor quality, I scaled it down and it started as a cell phone picture...

Yes.
