Ok, two of these codes are relevent, and I'm not sure about the other two but figured they were worth mentioning and recording.
r 0401
nr 0401
EE 01
dt 7C56
That should tell us who has which software.

dt 8631 (same as what John posted)
John - the manufacturing date is 12/04. Just read your latest post while I was composing this. I think Gary has a set of Shop Manuals maybe he can look the code sequence up.

Phillip -
YOUR FEH has dt=8631 AND your build date was 12/2005???
( Ops... I meant 2004 )
Is there a chance our "babies" were both born on the same day?
Interesting. Do you think the code only gives month and year?
It would not be so amazing to have both made the same month.
But the same day? Ours are the same color too!
I still have my window sticker ( my first new car ever )
Mine was shipped to Torrance, CA via "CONVOY" CK27 on 12/07/04.
Yours?
So we at least know 8631 has to = 12/07/04 or earlier!

EE - well, I'm not sure what this means, but mine is 01 also.
dt = build date code. I'd sure like to know how to decipher this one.
If someone ( a few people would help more ) knew their exact build date, and dt code, perhaps we could reverse engineer and deciper. It is Hex for sure, but I couldn't figure out how to make 8631 = 12/??/2004
My build date was 12/2004.
My dt = 8631
( I don't know the day, but hopefully dt will tell me some day! )

You can bring up firmware version number on your Nav screen, but that's gotta be just for the audio / navigation software, right?

My build date was sometime in August or September of 2004.
Do you know where we can find a list of the codes and what they mean?

Under files.
Some is straightforward, all the Hexidecimal is not.

Re: Who's modding their hybrids?
If you own a 2005 car, I assume the date on your sticker says 11/11/04.
Is this correct?
And wait a sec... Hex does not use the letter G where I come from!!!
I hope you are looking at A6E9.

Re: Who's modding their hybrids?
I have a 2005 FEH with dt = 7Fbb. Date of manufacture on the door pillar is 10/04.
I guess 7Fbb is 32699.
Shall we assume there is a secret day one? It isn't the usual 1/1/1990.

Re: Who's modding their hybrids?
I also thought maybe that code was a "serial" number... or day count like you imply, but that's not the case.
FEH's built 30 days apart have numbers 2000 different. ( In decimal )
And no, it doesn't mean 2000 cars were built in 30 days.
Cars built the same day have the same code.
As luck would have it, VietVet and Myself have FEH's built the same day, and both our cars have the same code. dt is for sure a date code.
We can't assume it is a 4 digit code.
It could be 2, 2-digits codes, or 4 1-digit codes.
????
I don't have the exact date, but "Day 1" for Ford was some date in 1920 or 1921.
Some time about when the first major automated assembly line started.
Before this, there were very little records kept back in the day when they were building them one at a time by hand.

Re: Who's modding their hybrids?
Sorry about the typo, it is, as you say, dt = A6E9. The build date is 11/11/2005 for an '06. My '05 was totalled when someone made an illegal left turn and hit me head-on on a two lane road. Replaced the '05 AWD with an '06 FWD.
By the way, the door sticker only gives the month and year for the build date, the window sticker gives the month, day and year in the lower right.
