In the 97 Grand Cherokee we had, I kept the jumper cables in the zipper compartment of the spare tire.
Have not loaded up my MMH yet with the emergency goodies. Will most likely use a small duffle bag & place a blanket in there to help with any rattling.
The only other place in these cars would be under the front seats.
