I faxed out about 6 order requests to different dealers in the area. I guess, in hopes of finding one of these 'ghost' allocations dealers are apparently hording.

I do prefer a loaded vehicle, but color(except that ice blue) doesnt really matter to me. I am also flexible on the Escape/Mariner and on the FWD/AWD.

Hopefully that helps turn somethig up.

As far as Fords advertising, that probably had no affect on my decision. I did what every good internet savy person does. I asked google, it brought me to this site. Without this site, I would have never even considered a Ford.

Ford should not waste money on advertising on TV, but should cover the costs of this site!!!

I used these online searches to locate a FEH in Vancouver BC. I live in Victoria and there were none here or on Vancouver Island. I phoned to confirm the dealer (Hallmark Ford) had it, went over and bought it and drove it home the same day. This was about a month ago.

It took a while for the vehicle I bought to come off the web site but it is gone now. They also had another and it's still showing as being in their inventory.

I'm glad I found one on a lot and didn't order one from the dealer here in Victoria. They told me 6-8 weeks but I was skeptical.
